Audiologist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. You will review electronic medical records via a secure web portal, conduct in-person assessments—including Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests—and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to generate necessary documentation for VA eligibility decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review electronic medical records through a secure web portal
• Conduct in-person assessments, including Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) for VA eligibility documentation
• Analyze medical records and accurately document exam findings
• Complete VA forms without prescribing treatments or devices

Requirements

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree
• Graduation from an ASHA-accredited program
• Current audiologist license
• Proficiency with technology
• Strong analytical skills
• Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans

Schedule

• Four-day workweek
• In-person assessments
• Caseload of 3-6 Veterans daily
