About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans, supporting the VA's benefits process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments including Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests.
  • Review electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) to document findings.
  • Accurately document exam results and ensure timely completion of documentation.
  • Interact with Veterans empathetically and professionally.

Note: This role does not prescribe treatments or devices; disability determinations are made by the VA.

Requirements

  • Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited institution.
  • Current audiologist license.
  • Proficiency with electronic documentation and web portals.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Schedule

  • Part-time hours.
  • In-person work.
  • Caseload of 3-6 Veterans per day.

Equipment and training are provided. This is a structured, no on-call environment focused on supporting Veterans.
