About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role involves reviewing records, conducting Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests, and accurately documenting findings in an in-person setting with a structured schedule and no on-call duties. The position focuses solely on assessments without treatment responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for Veterans.
- Review electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to generate necessary medical documentation.
- Perform Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests.
- Accurately document findings and maintain electronic records.
Requirements
- Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Audiologist.
- Comfort with electronic documentation and technology.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented, possess strong time management skills, and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans.
Schedule
- Four-day workweek.

- Average caseload of 3-6 Veterans daily.
