About the Role

Aria Care Partners is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide mobile hearing care to patients in skilled nursing facilities. This part-time, flexible opportunity allows you to deliver patient-centered care with a focus on clinical excellence, while we handle scheduling, billing, and coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Provide bedside hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities, including otoscopic exams, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing conditions.
  • Dispense, program, maintain, and repair hearing aids, and perform cerumen removal.
  • Recommend appropriate follow-up care and treatment options.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions.
  • Conduct clinics solo, handling all electronic progress note documentation and submitting completed notes to facilities.
  • Visit 1-2 facilities per day, seeing approximately 15 patients per facility, with clinics starting at 9 am.

Requirements

  • Experience providing hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities (not assisted living).
  • Proficiency in medical-based hearing care, including wax removal, tympanometry, hearing tests, and hearing aid dispenses.
  • Ability to work independently, managing all charting and communication with facilities.
  • Willingness to drive up to 2.5 hours per clinic day (accommodations and meals provided for drives over 3 hours from home).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay

Compensation is a daily rate based on experience, plus mileage reimbursement.

Schedule

  • Part-time, flexible opportunity (2-3 days per week).
  • No sales quotas; focus on patient-centered care.
