Audio/Visual Technician, Mt. Vernon

Job Description

Operate equipment as needed during worship services, rehearsals, and other programming.
Assist with tech support needs and stage setup for events in the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall and Student Worship Center.
Respond to AVL problems and other needs as they arise.
Assist other departments maintain the working condition of their AVL equipment.
Assist the Technical Director in maintaining all AVL equipment and address problems as needed.
Provide support and set-up for AVL needs for other ministries.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience serving in a local church or Christian organization
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Good people skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective troubleshooter
• General knowledge and expertise in Audio, Video, Visual, & Lighting (such as IMAG, Pro-presenter and mixing vocals)
• Willingness to work under the direction of other leaders
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
