Responsibilities
- Attend project kick-off meetings, assist in the development of project-specific work plans, and work with AV installation team members.
- Support Technician levels 2 and 3 during installation.
- Communicate and coordinate on-site with client, facility owners, general contractors, and associated trades as required to complete AV installation.
- Install AV systems according to systems documentation, industry standards and best-practices.
- Hang and install projection screens, display panels and related AV equipment.
- Pull, terminate, and test cable as well as build, populate and dress cable within equipment racks.
- Operate lifts, scaffolding, hand tools, power tools and diagnostic test equipment safely.
- Interpret project drawings, schematics, engineering notes, operation manuals and construction blueprints.
- Maintain complete and accurate as-built documentation of systems installations.
- Provide feedback to improve system implementations, engineering, and day-to-day workflow.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout installation.
Requirements
- 0-2 Years’ experience in AV Systems Implementation or related experience.
- Exhibits Company’s core values.
- Registered Unlicensed Power Limited Technician with the state of MN.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs, squat, kneel and climb ladders from 8-12 ft.
- Comfortable working in ceilings and tight spaces.
- Ability to handle pressure-sensitive situations and provide professional communication to clients.
- Basic knowledge of network connectivity and methods.
- Time management and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and handle deadlines and tight timelines.
- Certifications such as CTS, Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Biamp, QSC, etc. are desired, but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to travel nationally up to 40-50% per year.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

Pay
The hiring compensation range for this position is an hourly rate of $25-$26/hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
