About the Role
Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa is seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and break down audio visual equipment for events including meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and live music performances
- Cook with event managers, banquet teams, and clients to understand and execute audio visual requirements
- Operate soundboards, microphones, lighting, projectors, screens, and video equipment during events
- Maintain, organize, and store audio visual equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and event-ready
- Conduct pre-event testing and post-event breakdown of all equipment
- Provide technical support for internal meetings, trainings, and resort-wide presentations
- Train staff on basic use of audio visual equipment when needed
- Maintain inventory of audio visual equipment and report repair or replacement needs
- Maintain positive working relationships with all resort team members
- Attend departmental meetings as required
Requirements
- One year previous experience as an AV Specialist or equivalent education
Qualifications
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and special banquets or events
Skills
- Proficient in audio visual equipment and systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills

$28.00 per hour
