Research, design, and engineering from simple to complex AV systems
Attend sales meetings and job walks
Create Project Closeout Documents
Actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the Sales team as the key technical advisor
Act as lead Sales Engineer during the presales process through solution implementation
Provide support to the Design Team in requirement identification, solution design, and customer presentation for Audio-Visual Project Opportunities
Provide discovery (on-site/remote) support to capture environmental details
Arcitect cost-effective, reliable, supportable Audio-Visual designs based on the client's needs analysis
Meet with the client to develop a clear and concise project requirements document for each project
Develop detailed Scope of Works for Audio-Visual Projects
Create and modify documentation, Scopes of Works (SOW), line drawings (DRW), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Site Survey (SSRV) as required
Interact in person, by phone, &/or by e-mail directly with client management and end-users
Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
Demonstrate continued technical education through vendor and/or industry certification achievement
Deliver technology training to Sales and customers as requested

Minimum of 5 years experience within the audio visual industry
Minimum of 2 years experience in engineering & design
Extensive knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, control, and networking
AVIXA, CTS, and CTS-D certifications preferred
Certifications in Crestron, Extron, Shure, Planar, Biamp, AMX, QSC, Polycom, Cisco, and others
Certified competent use of MS Office, Visio and Database Programs with high attention to detail
