Audio Visual Collaboration Specialist

AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and location as needed; hours may include travel to client sites and flexible scheduling based on event requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support in person or virtually for meeting assistance or conference production
• Direct end-user support on the operation and use of collaboration tools (MS Teams, Webex, Zoom)
• Perform meeting or conference setup activities
• Conduct regular AV and videoconferencing room checks, certifications, and preventative maintenance within established standards
• Provide direct assistance and training to end users in the operation of AV systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks and services on AV/VTC systems
• Perform advanced routine maintenance support, including basic troubleshooting, system fault isolation, projector lamp changes, and filter cleaning
• Provide show tech support for planned events, both onsite and off, as needed
• Perform service-level troubleshooting and maintenance on AV and VTC systems
• Set up and monitor video calls as needed
• Ensure vendor compliance with all customer safety and procedural guidelines
• Track all maintenance activity start to finish with proper documentation
• Complete administrative tasks such as service tickets and maintaining an active status board on system readiness

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–4 years of audiovisual support experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms (MS Teams, Zoom)
• Basic understanding of signal flow for audio, video, and control

• Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues
• Ability to work and think independently while meeting deadlines
• Basic computer knowledge

Pay

Hourly rate between $29.50 and $38.46 per hour.
