Audio Video Technician - Brown Deer Area

We are partnering with an audio and video company to find an experienced Audio Video Technician for their Brown Deer office.

About the role

This position involves the setup and operation of audio and video equipment for clients. It requires excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of audio and video systems, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, innovative, detail-oriented, and thrive in an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Installation of custom, state-of-the-art home theater systems
• Installing and maintaining network solutions, including structured data wiring and implementation and programming of routers and access points
• Home automation systems, including audio and video, lighting, shading, and HVAC control
• Installing and maintaining IP-based video surveillance systems, working with bullet, dome, and PTZ cameras, and AI-based video technologies
• Installation of distributed audio systems, including multi-zone audio solutions
• Installation of outdoor displays and outdoor audio applications

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role with another audio/video company
• Control4 programming experience (a plus)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Able to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and accurately
• Physically able to frequently stand, walk, reach, use ladders, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Valid driver’s license for traveling to client locations
