Responsibilities
- Configure, commission, and test video production and distribution systems used for performances, livestreams, recordings, and events.
- Perform installation, patching, interfacing, and troubleshooting for video systems, including but not limited to: Robotic cameras, camera controllers, video routers, switchers, fiber patch bay, streaming, recording, video control room equipment, broadcast truck integration and surveillance/monitoring systems.
- Maintain operational readiness of video systems and their connectivity to venue networks.
- Provide setup, configuration, and operational support for meeting and conferencing technology used in the Lobby, Symphony Suites, and Concert Hall.
- Support teleconference and hybrid meeting environments including: video conferencing platforms, display systems, presentation technology, microphone and conferencing audio systems, camera control and streaming systems.
- Assist with network connectivity, device integration, and troubleshooting of AV systems that interface with IT infrastructure.
- Cookordination technical requirements for corporate meetings, presentations, and teleconference events.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspection, cleaning, installation, and basic repair of AV equipment.
- Assist with maintenance of video infrastructure, networked AV equipment, and performance systems.
- Cookordinate procurement of replacement parts, tools, and consumables needed for system maintenance and operation.
- Coordinate software licensing updates and firmware upgrades for cameras, controllers, network devices, and conferencing systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory of AV equipment and infrastructure.
- Produce event reports documenting repairs, system issues, and operational procedures.
- Provide post production file management.
- Develop written documentation and cross-training materials for AV and video system workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Digital Media, Media Technology, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3+ years of professional audio video experience.
- Experience with venue and technical facility maintenance.
- Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with professional audio mixing, signal routing, media storage/archiving, fiber optic infrastructure, and production lighting equipment in a live performance or event environment.
- Ability and flexibility to work a variety of schedules that may include evenings, weekends and off-hours to support events.
