Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional, courteous manner.
- Accurately process service and parts invoices, including handling cash, credit card, and check transactions.
- Review invoices with customers and provide basic explanations or direct them to the Service Advisor when necessary.
- Reconcile and balance the daily cash drawer, maintaining accurate records.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route to appropriate staff.
- Perform filing, data entry, and general clerical tasks to support the Service and Parts Departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier area.
- Support dealership goals by providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred; automotive dealership experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic computer use; Microsoft Office required, CDK experience preferred.
- Professional demeanor with a positive, customer-first mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
