Attorney - Workers Compensation

About the role

The firm is seeking an Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with workers' compensation litigation defense.

• Experience with workers' compensation litigation defense
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Representing clients in hearings, mediations, and advisory matters

Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school
• Maintain an active license in good standing in PA
• At least three years of workers' compensation litigation experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software
• Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision
• Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when necessary
