Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as wills, trusts, estates, and power of attorney documents.
- Providing expert advice on estate planning and trust management to clients.
- Representing clients in probate court proceedings.
- Collaborating with financial advisors and accountants to develop effective estate plans.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and provide solutions.
- Ensuring all legal documents and proceedings are in compliance with the current laws and regulations.
- Assisting clients in making informed decisions about their assets and estate planning.
- Providing ongoing legal support and advice to clients as their circumstances change.
Qualifications
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in trust and estate law.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents including wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents.
- Extensive knowledge of estate planning and probate laws.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Proven track record of successful representation in probate court proceedings.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Active membership in the state bar association.
