Attorney-Represented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

About the role

National General Insurance is seeking an experienced Bodily Injury Adjuster based in California, Nevada, Oregon, or Arizona. The ideal candidate will have experience handling homeowner, commercial, or auto liability claims and must be available to work 8am–5pm Pacific Time. Litigation experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents.
• Determine coverage, liability, damages, and negotiate claims within assigned authority.
• Handle all aspects of bodily injury claims, including coverage, damages, subrogation, and litigation, with discretion and independence.
• Apply intermediate understanding of company insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships.
• Assess subrogation or fraud potential and determine appropriate handling.
• Identify customer needs and meet them using strong customer service skills.
• Recognize vehicle body parts and evaluate other potential property damage.
• Partner with fraud or subrogation representatives to achieve optimal outcomes for relevant claims.

Requirements

• Experience handling homeowner, commercial, or auto liability claims.
• Must be based in California, Nevada, Oregon, or Arizona and work 8am–5pm Pacific Time.
• Litigation experience may be necessary.
• Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team.
