Attorney Repped Bodily Injury Adjuster (EHBI) - National General
About the role
National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation, offering home, auto, and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products. This role is located within the Extended Handler Bodily Injury (EHBI) Casualty Unit.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve attorney-represented bodily injury claims, including confirming facts of loss, determining coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiating settlements within assigned authority limits.
- Handle investigation regarding all aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability, and damages) with discretion and independence within increased level of authority.
- Learn to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims.
- Identify and recognize body parts of a vehicle and understand other potential property damage.
- Identify customer needs and work to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle.
- Apply increased experience in the Adjuster II level or rotate into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.).
Supervisory Responsibilities

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is:
- Adjuster Cons I: $53,500.00 – 77,800.00/salary
- Adjuster Cons II: $56,000.00 – 82,500.00/salary
- Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $68,500.00 – 104,100.00/salary
