Responsibilities
- Manage cases, advocate for clients in court, conduct hearings and trials, negotiate settlements, and help families navigate family law matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, and legal correspondence.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trial.
- Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients.
- Maintain organized and accurate case files.
- Ensure all work product is completed accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
- Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
- Strong communication and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage cases effectively and professionally.
Qualifications
Family law experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome applications from attorneys with litigation experience in other practice areas who are looking to build a rewarding career in family law.
