About the role
Build a meaningful career in family law. At Stange Law Firm, PC, you will manage cases, advocate for clients in court, conduct hearings and trials, negotiate settlements, and help families navigate legal issues involving divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, guardianship, estate planning, and other family law matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage family law matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, and legal correspondence
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trial
- Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients
- Maintain organized and accurate case files
- Ensure all work product is completed accurately and timely
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
- Licensed to practice law in Missouri
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases effectively and professionally
- Family law experience preferred, but not required
Qualifications
- Senior Associate opportunities available for attorneys with five or more years of litigation experience
