Job Summary

Stange Law Firm, PC has an immediate opening for a motivated, dynamic attorney to join our team in Columbia, Missouri. This position offers meaningful courtroom exposure and hands-on responsibility in family law matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases, advocate for clients in court, conduct hearings and trials
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients
• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, and legal correspondence
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trial
• Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Maintain organized and accurate case files
• Ensure all work product is completed accurately and timely

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri
• Strong communication and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases effectively and professionally
• Familiarity with family law matters preferred, but not required

Qualifications

• Experience in litigation preferred, but not required

Pay & Schedule

• Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience
