Responsibilities
- Manage employment-related litigation matters through all stages, from early assessment to final resolution.
- Conduct workplace investigations and assist in gathering, evaluating, and organizing relevant facts and findings.
- Prepare substantive legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
- Perform thorough legal research and develop clear written analyses to support case strategy and client advice.
- Oversee case progress by tracking deadlines, coordinating next steps, and helping shape litigation strategy.
- Advise clients on employment issues and provide practical legal guidance tailored to workplace matters.
- Work closely with attorneys in related practice areas when matters involve overlapping legal issues.
Requirements
- Active membership in the California Bar in good standing.
- Prior experience handling litigation matters in a law firm or comparable legal environment.
- Background in employment law is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading or supporting workplace investigations is preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage priorities effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented, client-focused approach.
