Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial documents, including customer supply contracts, vendor agreements, and confidentiality arrangements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide legal guidance on contract terms, obligations, and risk exposure across business operations.
- Support human resources matters by advising on employment-related issues and helping reduce legal and organizational risk.
- Aid with commercial disputes and litigation matters, including case assessment, coordination with relevant parties, and strategy support.
- Deliver pragmatic legal recommendations that balance business objectives with compliance and risk management considerations.
- Independently prioritize legal requests and respond efficiently in a fast-paced in-house environment.
- Contribute to compliance-related activities by identifying legal concerns and recommending practical corrective actions.
Requirements
- Broad legal experience handling commercial agreements, dispute-related matters, and employment-related issues.
- Previous in-house counsel experience supporting business teams and operational decision-making.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and redlining skills across a range of commercial contracts.
- Working knowledge of litigation processes involving commercial disputes.
- Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities with limited supervision.
- Clear and effective communication skills with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
