ATTORNEY — LARGE LOSS / EXCESS

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Attorney with significant experience handling large loss and excess claims to join our Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex litigation, providing strategic legal counsel, and delivering outstanding results for clients in high-stakes cases. Location: Philadelphia, United States. Work Mode: Work from Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and resolution of large loss and excess insurance matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Advise clients on risk assessment and litigation strategy
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive successful outcomes
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in relevant laws

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience handling large loss/excess cases
• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (required)
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Demonstrated success managing complex litigation from start to finish
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Team player with proactive approach to problem-solving
