Big Law Lawyer

micro1 is engaging experienced BigLaw attorneys to contribute their legal expertise to a customer project focused on training and improving next-generation AI systems. In this remote contractor role, you will use your real-world legal knowledge to analyze complex legal matters, evaluate legal content, and provide high-quality feedback that helps AI models learn how to reason and perform more effectively. No prior AI experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a variety of U.S. law topics.
• Perform detailed legal research and identify accurate, current legal information.
• Draft, review, and edit legal memoranda, opinions, contracts, and related documents.
• Evaluate legal content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and legal reasoning.
• Provide structured feedback based on established guidelines and best practices.
• Identify errors, ambiguities, inconsistencies, and potential issues in legal materials.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to refine project deliverables.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail and consistently high-quality work.

Requirements

• Active U.S. license to practice law.
• Current or prior experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms (required).
• Strong academic and legal credentials.
• Excellent legal research, analysis, writing, and drafting skills.
• Experience handling sophisticated or complex legal matters.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with legal content review, quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
