ATTORNEY — INSURANCE DEFENSE

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in Jersey City. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of insurance defense litigation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal representation. This is an on-site position offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative legal team. Location: Jersey City, United States. Work Mode: Work from Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
• Advise clients on case strategy and risk assessment
• Negotiate settlements effectively when appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive client service

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey (additional states a plus)
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
• Excellent writing and research abilities
• Commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy
