Role: Attorney — Insurance Defense
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution
- Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Advise clients on case strategy and risk assessment
- Negotiate settlements effectively when appropriate
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive client service
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey (additional states a plus)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Excellent writing and research abilities
- Commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy
