About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience handling insurance defense litigation, strong analytical skills, and a passion for advocacy. This role is key in representing clients in complex legal matters and providing expert counsel on insurance-related disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of insurance defense cases from inception through trial or settlement
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff for case strategy development
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to practice law in the state required
• Minimum 8 years' experience in insurance defense litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record of managing complex caseloads independently
