Attorney – Business Law – Williamsburg, VA

Responsibilities

• Assist in advising clients on a broad range of general business matters.
• Work closely with experienced counsel on projects that include:
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and corporate documents.
• Serving as a support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions from due diligence through closing.
• Advising on corporate governance, business formation, and succession planning.
• Conducting research and analysis on state and federal laws affecting corporate and transactional matters.
• Guiding clients through licensing, certification, and reimbursement matters.
• Assisting with regulatory and licensing compliance for business clients across diverse industries, including healthcare organizations.
• Providing practical, business-oriented legal advice to help clients achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership (or eligibility) in the Virginia Bar.
• 3 or more years of experience in corporate, business, or transactional law preferred; candidates with a strong interest in healthcare law are encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing practical, business-minded solutions to clients.

Pay

Salary Range: $140,000 - 180,000
