A modern boutique business law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation & Business Attorney to join its growing practice. Qualifications

• Active California Bar license
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience
• Business litigation experience required with strong preference for employment law
• Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
• Comfortable managing cases independently
• Business-minded and client-focused
• Team player with ambition and accountability

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of meaningful, complex matters, not just assist
• Lead litigation cases from inception through resolution with the help of seasoned attorneys/mentors
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions; appear confidently in court
• Represent clients in mediations and high-stakes negotiations
• Advise business clients on risk, compliance, and strategy
• Structure, draft, and negotiate contracts and transactions
• Support entity formation, governance, and business operations
• Work directly with clients as a trusted legal advisor
