Attorney

About the role

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. We are looking for an Attorney to join our fast-paced Business Real Estate team in our San Diego office.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation to clients, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario and counseling clients appropriately
• Respond to client concerns to increase and retain business
• Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to increase the firm’s visibility in the community and within the industry
• Able to handle complex matters on one’s own and/or as a lead attorney with little supervision
• Able to develop executive level client confidence to retain current firm clients
• Able to contribute to a positive and respectful working environment
• Billable hours requirement is 1600
• Represent the firm internally and externally
• Other duties as needed to support the legal and management goals of the department

Qualifications

• J.D. and an active California Bar license
• 5+ years of experience as a licensed California attorney
• Previous litigation and trial experience required
• Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics
• Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently

The Following Qualifications Are Preferred

• Previous experience in landlord-tenant matters
• Previous experience with real estate law

Pay

$150k-$225k/annually + Bonus

Schedule

Position is full-time, exempt. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday. We currently offer a hybrid in-office remote work model for select positions within the Firm.
