About the role

We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with personal injury experience to join a plaintiff-focused contingent-fee practice in Missouri. The ideal candidate will be motivated, ambitious, and interested in developing strong litigation and trial skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Manage daily communication with opposing counsel.
• Handle written discovery and case development.
• Take and defend plaintiff, defendant, and expert depositions.
• Participate as first chair in jury trials for smaller matters.
• Serve as second chair on catastrophic injury trials.
• Assist with trial strategy and case development alongside lead attorneys.
• Handle appellate matters when necessary.
• Review releases and other litigation documents.
• Help develop and manage personal injury cases from litigation through resolution.

Requirements

• Personal Injury litigation experience required.
• Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
• Active Missouri Bar license required.
• Additional admission in Illinois, Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Kansas is a plus.
• Strong litigation, writing, research, and courtroom skills.
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositions.
• Desire to develop trial and appellate experience.
• Strong work ethic, optimism, grit, and commitment to client advocacy.
• Plaintiff-side, contingent-fee experience is highly relevant.
