Attorney

Join a role focused on managing moderately complex legal matters while providing trusted counsel across the organization. This position supports business operations by advising on legal risk, compliance, and liability exposure, while helping guide decisions that protect organizational interests. The role is an individual contributor position, completing specific tasks and projects directly through skills and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key legal partner supporting internal teams and business leaders.
• Manage a variety of legal projects and cases with meaningful organizational impact.
• Contribute to compliance efforts and legal risk assessment across operations.
• Evaluate liability and financial exposure tied to business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a consultative environment.
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by external legal counsel when needed.

Requirements

• Experience managing moderately complex legal matters within an in-house or comparable environment.
• Proven background providing practical, business-focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Experience assessing liability, risk exposure, and potential financial impact.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and legal risk management practices.
• Experience coordinating or supervising outside legal counsel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) or LL.M. (Master of Laws)
• 3 years of related experience

Pay

• Pay Range: $127,585 – $165,110 per year
• Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary
