Position Overview
Telos Health Systems is seeking a compassionate and motivated Attending Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive on-site primary care services to residents in skilled nursing facilities throughout the Tampa, Florida area. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking schedule flexibility, clinical autonomy, and the ability to build a rewarding practice in post-acute and long-term care settings. Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform admissions, follow-ups, and medically necessary assessments
- Manage changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, specialists, and facility leadership
- Supervise and collaborate with NPs/PAs as appropriate
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
Call Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured call rotation
- Address urgent clinical concerns via telehealth
- Telehealth encounters may provide additional compensation opportunities
- Supported workflows designed to maintain manageable call volume
Compensation

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Emergency Medicine
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Interest in skilled nursing and post-acute care medicine
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
