Job Description The Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) / Attending Otolaryngologist. The successful candidate will: Coordinate Resident and Medical Students in the field Otolanyngology and sub-specialties. Serve on Institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair. Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee. Attend required Departmental conferences. Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation. Assist with department Q&A programs. Develop a hospital-based practice. Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals. Provide attending coverage for Adult and Pediatric consultations. Qualifications Required Qualifications MD Degree or equivalent.Graduate of an ACGME-approved Residency Program.New York State Medical Licensure.Board Certified Otolaryngologist.
