About the role
The New England College of Optometry (NECO) seeks a non-tenure, clinical track faculty optometrist to join the professional staff at Lynn Community Health Center. This individual will provide clinical care, serve as a faculty member, and teach future optometrists.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients at Lynn Community Health Center
- Teach future optometrists the principles of optometric and interdisciplinary care
- Contribute to the educational mission of NECO by instructing students in the clinical setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
- OD degree with TPA+ licensure (glaucoma and anti-infective privileges) in Massachusetts
- Advanced professional credentials such as residency training or equivalent clinical experience
- Active commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching
- Pediatric residency from an accredited institution is required
- Experience serving a diverse patient base and language skills other than English are preferred, but not required

Schedule
The start date for the position is October 5, 2026, pending licensure and credentialing for the assigned clinical site.
Pay
The starting salary for this position is $110,000.
