Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology
The University of Southern California (USC) seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology in the Department of Ophthalmology/Roski Eye Institute, Keck School of Medicine of USC.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide high-quality optometry services at USC Roski Eye Institute and USC Village clinic. They will be expected to hold the academic title of Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality optometry services at USC Roski Eye Institute and USC Village clinic.
- Contribute to the academic mission of the department through teaching and mentoring.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of ophthalmology.
Requirements
- Obtained a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited School of Optometry.
- Hold a current valid license from the California Board of Optometry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a one-year residency program.
- Experience in ophthalmology, private practice, or academic environment.
Exempt Position
The full-time faculty position is exempt, with an annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000.
