Assistant Professor Clinical Practice - Ophthalmology

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide faculty support to meet the teaching and patient care needs of the Department of Ophthalmology.
• Provide optical care.
• Participate in all teaching activities of the Department including conferences and lectures.
• Supervise house staff in the clinics.
• Conduct continuing education and participate in local, regional, and national meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completed an ACGME approved residency training program in general optometry.
• Certified/Board Eligible in Optometry.
• Held a Texas Optometry license without restrictions.

SALARY

Commensurate with experience.
