Under the general supervision of the Transportation and ADC Manager, the Attended Donations Center Trainer is responsible for training ADC team members at ADC sites, ensuring the overall image, customer service, stewardship of donations, and integrity of donor counts.
Responsibilities
- Ensures a work environment for a prompt, friendly, and courteous donor experience.
- Opens and closes an ADC as required, including reporting a donor attendant's absence, assigning duties, and maintaining control of operation functions.
- Greets donors within 10 seconds in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner; unloads donations from vehicles and maintains accurate daily counts of donations.
- Hands every donor a receipt and ends every interaction with "You changed a life today, Thank you!"
- Breaks down donations into categories.
- Assists the Transportation and ADC Manager in sustainable projects (Cleveland Rocks/Rags/scan books) as needed.
- Performs regular inspections and site visits to ADCs covering shifts, loss prevention review, training, schedule review, image, proper attendant attire, supplies, equipment, and donor greeting procedures.
- Maintains drive-through and trailer sites in accordance with image standards.
- Orders and maintains supplies efficiently and secures them appropriately.
- Communicates with leadership on opportunities found at each ADC and supports ADC peers on specific duties as needed.
- Adheres to all Goodwill personnel policies and procedures; follows safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries.
- Assists supervisor with safety practices and incident/accident reporting.
- Trains and coaches ADC team members, including OJT checklist completion, orientation, site inspections, reports, work requests, and performance feedback.
- May participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
- Attends in-service and related training as assigned.
- Delivers and picks up ADC trailers to/from homes or businesses without the assistant manager.
- Supports and engrains DGR MODE guiding principles in daily operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the ADC manager.

- Ability to effectively use computer applications, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and other relevant software.
