Attendant - Plum Lounge

About the role

The Attendant – Plum Lounge is responsible for assisting servers by cleaning tables and maintaining side stations to ensure they are clean and well stocked. This role also supports the kitchen in expediting the service process to maintain a smooth flow of service throughout the dining room.

Responsibilities

• Assist food servers and bus persons with cleaning and resetting tables.
• Perform all assigned side work duties and maintain restaurant cleanliness within health code standards.
• Describe menu items accurately using proper verbiage and answer questions about specials, beverages, and wine.
• Set up and replenish side stations with polished china, glassware, silverware, ice, dry goods, paper products, juices, cut fruits, and garnishes throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas during the shift.
• Comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations related to health, safety, and labor requirements.
• Notify management of maintenance or repair issues.
• Complete other job-related duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Minimum six (6) months of related experience.
• Able to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

• Ability to lift 30 to 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, use of hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking, or hearing.
• Ability to taste or smell.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including excessive noise and constant exposure to the general public.
