Attendant Iao Valley Monument State Park

About the role

The Lot Attendant performs a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operation of the parking facility while delivering service that exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities vary by location and may include greeting guests, verifying reservations, and maintaining efficient traffic flow.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Act as traffic controller to direct incoming guests to available parking spaces
• Perform vehicle counts throughout shift to prevent overfilling of available spaces
• Control traffic at entrances and exits; assist guests who have forgotten where they parked
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks
• Use respectful communication to assist guests with questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead as needed
• Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates

Requirements

• Must live near Iao Valley Monument State Park on Maui
• At least 18 years of age
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to verbally communicate with guests

Schedule

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
