Essential Job Functions

• Follow all safety and sanitation rules, including lifting and carrying procedures
• Stock and fill breakfast buffet food line
• Greet guests and verify status as a hotel guest
• Engage in friendly conversation with guests
• Clear all china, glassware, and silverware from all tables
• Wipe down tables and chairs and sweep debris from the floor
• Keep dining area, breakfast buffet, and side stations organized, stocked, and cleaned
• Complete all opening, closing, and running duties
• Maintain next day inventories according to occupancy
• Order, receive and store necessary food and supplies maintaining inventory controls according to hotel occupancy
• General food preparation and serving
• Empties out trash cans, clean and wipe chairs, tables, beverage area, and the breakfast and condiment station
• Sweep, vacuum or mop floors in the breakfast area and lobby
• Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free
• Other duties as assigned by your manager

Qualifications

• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and team members
• Possess ability to work in fast-paced situations
• Prior experience in hospitality and guest interaction is required
• Neat, clean appearance and ability to wear proper uniform, including nametag, ID badge, and slip resistant shoes
• Reports to work on time
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to be a TEAM player
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing

Physical And Mental Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Must occasionally move and lift up to 25 pounds
• Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under occasional fast paced and noisy work conditions
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
