Athletics Support Position (Continuous Recruitment)

This is a temporary, fixed-term position within UW Oshkosh Athletics. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for as-needed roles.

About the Role

UW Oshkosh is accepting applications to fill temporary athletics support positions. Once you submit an application, you may be contacted by a hiring supervisor if your qualifications meet the department's needs. This is temporary work and does not lead to permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Records statistics and performs data entry
• Provides assistance for athletic programs as requested
• Assists in preparing sports facilities

Benefits

• Temporary employees are covered by Social Security, with taxes deducted from paychecks and matched by the State of Wisconsin
• Eligibility for worker's compensation benefits if injured on the job
• Under certain circumstances, temporary employees may be eligible for retirement and insurance coverage

Temporary employees are not eligible for sick leave, vacation, or holiday pay.

Requirements

• Resume submission required
• Final candidates must provide names and contact information for three references, including at least one manager or supervisor, during the interview process

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout employment
