Athletic Venue Supervisor (Part-time)

Our teams interact directly with students, faculty, administration, alumni, and the general public to provide outstanding customer service for selling or renting books, general merchandise, and an array of products and services.
About the role
We are seeking dynamic, friendly, and customer-focused team members with a passion for athletics to work as part-time Athletic Venue Supervisors. In this role, you will assist and oversee associates to service fans, students, and a variety of customers, creating an exciting retail and game day experience. Your leadership and customer service skills will be essential in a fast-paced environment supporting product sales for over 100 athletic events, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, and baseball at our Team Store.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, promote, and model exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases of merchandise or services.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all venue operations to provide assistance across all areas of the business.
- Assign work and provide focused direction to associates to ensure daily setup and restocking of displays.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints, escalating concerns to upper management when necessary.
- Shelve, arrange, clean, and organize products or store space to maintain an appealing sales floor.
- Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
Physical Demands
- Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and/or products.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting.
- Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a retail setting preferred.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High-energy, friendly personality with strong communication skills to interact with a variety of people.
- Outstanding customer service skills to match customers with products that meet their needs.
- Ability to multi-task and comfort utilizing computers.
- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.

Schedule
Part-time positions require availability to work on a weekly basis year-round. Schedules may be set or vary to meet the needs of the store.
