Facility Supervisor-Athletics - Part-Time
Job Summary
Assists with the coordination and supervision of adult and youth athletic programs. This position performs duties of a facility supervisor at City fields, gyms, and facilities. Requires evening and weekend shifts. Salary range: $17.33- $19.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

The position involves coordinating and supervising athletic programs, performing opening and closing duties, enforcing policies, treating minor injuries, and preparing athletic fields and playing areas. It requires strong communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to handle emergencies and stressful situations.
Responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing duties for gates and doors, rest rooms, scorekeeper booth, maintenance garage and office, and other facilities.
- Affirm weather conditions and make closing decisions if necessary.
- Maintain crowd and team control.
- Enforce policies of the facility.
- Treat minor injuries through proper knowledge of first aid and safety techniques.
- Complete periodic custodial duties including cleanup of rest rooms and other areas.
- Work closely and in collaboration with umpires/referees.
- Monitor and enforce crowd and team control.
- Prepare athletic fields and playing areas.
- Supervise volunteers, program participants, and facility use.
- May assist with special events.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Minimum of 18 years of age at time of hire.
- One year course work in recreation, education or related field, related coach training, officiating or previous participation required.
- Knowledge of a variety of sports preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or must obtain within 60 days of hire date.
- Current Driver's License.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Frequent light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequent exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements. Occasional exposure to hazards that are predictable or well protected against.
