Athletic Trainer - Orthopedic (F/T Days)

About the role

Provide services in regards to prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care and rehabilitation for all active individuals and sports related injuries. Overall goal is to maximize safe return to activity.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professional development and responsibility within the field of athletic training.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required Education: Graduate of athletic training program from accredited college or university.
  • Licensure: State of practice licensure or eligible for Athletic Trainer is required.
  • Experience: None.
  • Certification/Registration: Certification through the Board of Certification, Inc. Professional Rescuer CPR or its equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Education: Master's Degree in athletic training or related field is preferred.
  • Preferred Experience: Some experience.
  • Preferred Certification: National Athletic Trainers Association certification as an athletic trainer.

Skills

  • Trained and capable of performing patient care.
  • Able to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
