About the role
Performs and documents as directed by physician for patients classified as athletes according to state licensure act. Independently assesses patients/athletes to determine appropriate athletic injury care or referral to physician for evaluation. Provides rehabilitation and athletic injury coverage for area schools. In clinical setting, delivers treatment under direction of evaluating therapist to meet stated goals.

Requirements
- Kansas Athletic Trainer License
- Upon hire, must have Athletic Trainer license for the state in which they are practicing.
Preferred Requirements
- Master's degree is preferred but will accept Bachelor's degree.
- Prefers two years of working experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
- New graduates are considered with active certification or licensure.
