Under general supervision by clinical leadership, the Athletic Trainer provides direct patient care, including athletic training-related services and athletic development when appropriate. Responsibilities span athletic training, concussion management, community outreach, and development of future related programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through athletic training-related services.
- Deliver athletic development services as appropriate.
- Manage concussion-related care and protocols.
- Engage in community outreach initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of future athletic training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program (required).
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (preferred).
- Current applicable state temporary or permanent license as an Athletic Trainer (required) or compliance with the state practice act.
- Current BLS certification (required) or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- One year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (preferred).

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.24 to $34.16 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
