Athletic Trainer - Crestwood Hospital - 1.0 FTE

About the role

The Athletic Trainer is responsible for attending practices and games of the assigned school, including preparation time before and treatments after. Fulfill the domains of athletic training:

• Prevention of injuries and illnesses
• Clinical evaluation and diagnosis
• Emergency care of injuries
• Treatment and rehabilitation of injuries
• Administration and professional development

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree; Graduate of an accredited Athletic Training program.
• Experience: Previous experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates: Current license as an Athletic Trainer in State of Alabama required. Current National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Current BCLS required (AHA or ECSI).
