About the role

The Athletic Trainer is responsible for attending practices and games of the assigned school, including preparation time before and treatments after.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the domains of athletic training: Prevention of injuries and illnesses, Clinical evaluation and diagnosis, Emergency care of injuries, Treatment and rehabilitation of injuries, Administration and professional development.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree; Graduate of an accredited Athletic Training program.
• Experience: Previous experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certificates: Current license as an Athletic Trainer in State of Alabama required. Current National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Current BCLS required (AHA or ECSI).
