Summary

Leads team members of an assigned area or function by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Mentors, monitors, coaches, and evaluates team members' performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality management.
  • Collaborates in coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
  • Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

  • Licensed Athletic Trainer
  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Continuing education in the field
  • Certification by The Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (NATA-BOC)
  • Licensure with the State of Colorado (DORA) as an Athletic Trainer (LAT)
  • Minimum required years of relevant experience: 2 years in an orthopedic setting providing direct patient care
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date

Pay

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Range: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour.

Schedule

Full Time, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks).
