Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Sports Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to assess, evaluate, and treat athletes across clinical and event settings.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Monitoring athlete responses and adjusting treatments accordingly.
• Providing physical care, emergency interventions, and education on self-management and treatment activities.
• Documenting evaluations, treatment goals, and athlete progress in compliance with department policies.
• Delivering athletic training services at high schools, club events, or junior colleges as assigned.
• Maintaining current knowledge of medical practices and EMR systems.
• Serving as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer (or eligible within 6 months) and Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
